Module Two: When the Student Arrives

Once you have completed the activities suggested in Module One, you have have laid the foundations for a rewarding and valuable student placement opportunity.  

Module Two focuses on communicating this information effectively with your student and provides a range of ideas and strategies to help you do this. You will find it much quicker to complete than Module One.

Information includes:

  • understanding the features of effective feedback
  • using the feedback cycle to actively engage your student in the evaluation process. Ideally this starts from the time your student arrives.
  • using the SPEF-R2 during orientation to let your student know about the decisions you have already made and recorded
