Module Two: When the Student Arrives

Once you have completed the activities suggested in Module One you have done the hard preparatory work.

Module Two focuses on communicating this information effectively with your student and provides a range of ideas and strategies to help you do this. You will find it much quicker to complete than Module One.

Information includes:

  • understanding the features of effective feedback
  • using the feedback cycle to actively engage your student in the evaluation process. Ideally this starts from the time your student arrives.
  • using the SPEF-R during orientation to let your student know about the decisions you have already made and recorded

Remember, as you work through the module please keep track of your suggestions and comments for the site evaluation.
