Now that you have worked through Module One and completed the suggested activities you are ready to use the SPEF-R2© during your student's orientation.

Check that you have:

  • read the User Manual and feel familiar with the SPEF-R2©
  • tested your login details for the SPEF-R2© Online (if using) and familiarised yourself with how to navigate the online system
  • chosen which stream to use for domains 4, 6 and 7 
  • customised all the relevant item examples
  • indicated which, if any items are not applicable to your workplace
  • considered and made note of what information you will need to substantiate your ratings and feedback 
  • decided how you will record specific examples of your student's practice.
